As 2024 draws to a close, SkyREM is proud to announce several major leasing milestones, securing over 300,000 square feet of industrial space with three industry-leading tenants across North Carolina and South Carolina.

These achievements were made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, led by Robert Van Geons, specifically for the Fayetteville properties, and the brokerage expertise of Newmark, which played a pivotal role in all three transactions.

Fayetteville Leases

SkyREM’s properties at 103 and 107 Tom Starling Road in Fayetteville, North Carolina, have secured long-term leases, further establishing the area as a growing hub for industrial development:

  • 103 Tom Starling Road: This 125,000-square-foot industrial space, developed by SkyREM, is set to welcome its new tenant in the first quarter of 2025.
  • 107 Tom Starling Road: The remaining 100,000 square feet of this 930,000-square-foot facility has been leased long-term to a tenant relocating from out of state. This transaction brings the building to full occupancy, showcasing a diverse and dynamic tenant mix.

These leases highlight the strategic advantages of Fayetteville, including proximity to key regional logistics hubs and the growing demand for premium industrial spaces. Looking ahead, SkyREM is actively exploring additional opportunities in Fayetteville, including a potential build-to-suit project of up to 1.6 million square feet at Cedar Creek Industrial Park.

Northann Corp. Lease

In Fort Lawn, South Carolina, Northann Corp., a leader in 3D printing and advanced manufacturing, has relocated its operations to SkyREM’s facility at 2251 Catawba River Road. This 106,000-square-foot lease marks a critical step in Northann’s strategic expansion.

Lin Li, CEO of Northann, states:

“This relocation marks a pivotal step in our strategic expansion. The new facility in Fort Lawn will enhance our production capacity, deepen our ‘Made in USA’ commitment, and enable us to better serve our customers with cutting-edge 3D printing solutions. It will also strengthen our 3D printing ecosystem, bringing more innovative and industry-leading products to our customers.”

With this move, Northann not only enhances its operations but also reinforces its long-term commitment to the Fort Lawn community.

Looking Forward

SkyREM remains dedicated to providing high-quality industrial spaces tailored to the needs of today’s most innovative companies, continuing to drive growth in the Carolinas and beyond.
