SkyREM, LLC Adds Multiple New Loading Docks to Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina
We are happy to announce that we have completed the construction and installation of a series of loading docks our 920,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center, which is strategically located right off of I-95 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The building has 32-foot ceilings and plenty of space outside for parking and loading.
Some of the specifications of the new addition include:
- 40' x 29' x 16' pre-engineered, custom-made metal loading docks with metal rib side walls and a standing seam metal roof
- 18 new 9' x 10' loading docks with dock levelers and bumpers
- A loading area with new LED lighting
- Completely renovated interior space
Since we acquired the property in 2018, we have fully modernized it into a state-of-the-art facility. We have invested over five million dollars in improvements that include interior and exterior LED lighting, 18 new loading docks with a new tractor-trailer staging area, renovations of the trailer storage lot with the capacity to contain 100 trailers, repairs of the office heating and cooling systems, and even new bathrooms.
We have signed leasing contracts for the entire property, with We Pack Logistics joining With the addition of 18 new loading docks, the property is now 100% leased, with We Pack Logistics joining our other long-term tenants, Keeco Homestyles and Landair Logistics.
SkyREM firmly believes in revitalizing cities across the US. To that end, we are very proud of this project, which has already created hundreds of new jobs and will yet create many more. The center’s proximity to Fort Bragg has also given us the opportunity to support the local special operations community. We are proud to contribute to the Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation and to be a small part of honoring our nation’s heroes.
