We were honored to have again been a Platinum sponsor of the 11th annual Swing for Life Golf and Tennis Tournament created to benefit the Ezer Mizion Bone Marrow Registry. The outing took place at the Seawane Country Club located in Hewlett Harbor, New York and raised an incredible $400,000.

For many cancer patients, bone marrow transplant is the only option. High expenses in addition to finding the right donor match make the process all the more difficult. Ezer Mizion runs the largest Jewish bone marrow registry in the world, giving diagnosed Jews a higher chance of survival.

The work Ezer Mizion does is so important, and we are always sure to support this great event. All proceeds from the tournament are used to sponsor DNA testing in attempt to enlarge the Hole in One donor pool, which has been responsible for saving 4,000 lives. It was so great to see the event was sold out and that so many contributors genuinely care about the cause.

During the event, Russell Kranzler shared his moving and personal story where he discusses his experience with acute myeloid leukemia and the relief of finding a bone marrow donor through. His donor, Motti Pardes, later surprised Russell on stage, meeting in person for the first time.

Aside from its bone marrow registry, Ezer Mizion dedicates its services to provide for other types of cancer patients, those suffering from Alzheimer’s, children with special needs, the hungry and those facing mental health challenges.

Alongside SkyREM, stood significant event including: KBC Advisors, City National Bank, Angelo Gordon, Signature Bank of New York, Foresight 20/20, E.P. Guidi Construction, Elite Roofing and many more. On behalf of both SkyREM and Ezer Mizion, I would like to personally thank each and every one of our sponsors for their support.
