I am thrilled to announce another successful project, marking our second large and successful investment in the state of Georgia this year, two months short of entering 2025–15 years since the founding of SkyREM. This acquisition is a significant addition to SkyREM’s growing industrial portfolio, further contributing to its mission of providing state-of-the-art properties.

About the Property

Strategically located at 7001 Skipper Road in Macon, Georgia, on Routes 75 and 16, approximately 80 miles outside of Atlanta and 150 miles from the Port of Savannah, the property is a newly constructed, Class A fulfillment and distribution center that is 100% leased on a long-term basis.

Fully optimizing its potential, the facility includes ESFR sprinklers, a 40-foot clear height, and 54-by-60-foot column spacing, supporting a 24/7 operation with the employment of over 1,000 individuals.

Following the purchase of a newly constructed 648,000-square-foot facility in Savannah, as well as a 400,000-square-foot property in Atlanta, the acquisition of another project in the state of Georgia presents SkyREM with a fascinating opportunity to continue broadening our holdings across the South-eastern market.

Next Steps

This acquisition has encouraged SkyREM’s growing investments in the Central Georgia market, aligning with our overall strategy of targeting modern, large-scale properties with strong fundamentals in prime locations.

We are delighted to have secured a tenant of this caliber — one of the leading top 20 e-commerce and technology companies — and are looking forward to acquiring similar excellent assets to establish a market of high-quality properties towards a flourishing future.
